During my food systems rotation, I worked with a fellow intern, Libbi, to produce a cooking demonstration holiday-themed vegan meal. We developed the menu, tested recipes, and created a budget for scaling the meal to serve a large crowd. Finally, we filmed our cooking demo, which incorporated culinary skills and detailed nutrition information. Our recipes were also featured on UW-Health Nutrition Services' social media pages.
